When I first got married to Cody Walker, we had a brief sweet time. At that time, Emma Green was already married and had just gotten pregnant. I heard that she was living happily abroad. Cody also seemed to have given up on her and devoted himself to his work. At that time, he would buy me gifts and talk to me about interesting things.
But all this changed a year ago.
Emma Green returned to our nation with her 3–year–old child.
I heard from Cody’s friends that the man she married had a good family background and was rich, but he was actually a domestic abuser and she was often beaten all over. She called Cody with a crying tone.
“I didn’t marry him for
him for money. The money is useless to me. I only want my child, so I didn’t take a penny of the property and chose to leave the house empty–handed. Cody, you are the only one I can trust.”
So he put down his multi–million contract and went abroad to bring her back. He told me that he took care of her because she was his childhood best mate. They grew up together and his parents had asked him to take good care of her as if she were his sister.
I foolishly believed her and even felt sorry for her. Until one day, I found her son Damian crushing the gift I gave him. He asked Emma, “Mom, when will that bitch divorce Uncle Cody? I want to be his son.”
Emma patted the child’s head proudly, “It will be soon, but she is so mean, she might not let him go that easy.”
At that moment, I could hardly believe what I heard. What kind of vicious person would educate her three–year–old child in this way?
I felt creepy, and I tried to talk to Cody indirectly, asking them to stop being so close, but in the end he said with a sullen face, “Are you jealous? I only treat her as a sister, and I just take care of her.”
So I had to remain silent.
And today, he actually told me to give him another chance.
I leaned over, picked up the pen, and signed my name in a dashing manner.
I said, “Mr. Walker, if we sign it now, we can still resolve it peacefully. Otherwise, we will have to see each other in court.”
He was stunned, but he wanted to say something else, but the next second the door was pushed open heavily.
Emma rushed in holding the child. She said angrily, “Monica Bath, don’t go too far! Don’t hurt him just because he loves you!”

I raised my chin and asked back, “Why, you don’t want him to divorce me?”
Emma’s got shocked, and then she said viciously, “I just think you are not worthy of him!”
“Enough!” Cody suddenly spoke, and she looked at him in surprise.
He said, “Who allowed you to say that about her? She is still Mrs. Walker!” Emma got embarrassed. She couldn’t help but pinch her son hard. Damian burst into tears instantly. She came to her senses and hurriedly coaxed him in a low voice.
But Damian didn’t buy it. He cried loudly and said, “Mom, you lied to me! You clearly said that if this bitch’s baby is gone, Uncle Walker will be my dad!”
“Liar! You’re a big liar!”
Cody’s face suddenly changed and he stood up. Emma panicked instantly. She reached out and covered the child’s mouth tightly, explaining in a panic, “No, it’s not true, he is just talking nonsense…”
But Cody didn’t believe it at all. He reached out and grabbed Emma’s wrist with such force that I could hear the bones cracking. She really let go because of the pain. Cody stared at Damian and asked, “What else did your mother say to you? If you tell me, I will buy you a gift…”
“No…” Emma kept winking at him, but the child had been spoiled by her and didn’t care at all. When he heard that he could get a gift, he immediately told everything. “Mom asked me to bump into her belly! She said there’s a bastard inside who wants to snatch things from me! I hate others snatching things from me, so everything that belongs to Uncle Walker should be mine!”
“But it was all useless! Luckily Damian was smart and secretly put the marbles in the bathroom! That bastard was gone!”
“Mom said that I successfully got Uncle Walker.”
